Collectors’ Chevrolet Cruze BTCC 2010 Champion Jason Plato #2 1:43 by Atlas
Product Description
Product Details:
After four seasons in the World Touring Car Championship in which it collected 14 wins, in 2009 the Chevrolet Lacetti gave way to the new Cruze WTCC. Several innovations were incorporated into this car developed by RML technicians. The front had a lower nose area with a large opening to give air to the powerful 4-cylinder engine without penalizing aerodynamics. An engine of 1,998 cm³, with a power of 278 hp at 8,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 197 nm was fitted. Weighing 1,170 kg, with a wheelbase of 2,709 mm, the Cruze WTCC was equipped with a 6-speed sequential gearbox. Frenchman Yvan Muller won the World title in 2010, scoring three victories in Brazil, Monza and Brands Hatch. In the same year Chevrolet also clinched the manufacturers’ championship.
